The Glee-kly Recap: 5 Episodes Until “Goodbye” and We’re a little “Choke”d Up!

Hola Gleeks!

Another week is upon us and I come to the realization today that there are only 5 episodes left until the end of the season, including tonight’s all new episode “Choke”. The previews have let us know that this week we will meet Puck’s father so we may get a rare Puck-centric story. I’ve also peeked at the tracklisting and checked out one of the First Listen Friday recordings and someone will be doing one of my very favorite songs by the Church of Pop’s Lady of Broken Hearts: Kelly Clarkson. Needless to say, I am stoked.

In case you didn’t catch last week’s Whitney Houston tribute… (Here’s what you missed, on GLEE!)

Let’s get on with it, then?

The Glee-kly Recap: “Big Brother” Makes a Few Mistakes, but All Ends Well.

Welcome back, Gleeks! (Do you like the new feature logo?)

After an excruciating 7 week hiatus, we’re promised that the last 7 episodes of Season 3 will air consecutively with no re-runs until the end of the season. Additionally, season 4 was officially announced today via FOX and the show’s stars on Twitter. I didn’t realize that it hadn’t already been renewed and I don’t think it was likely to be cancelled just yet, but still – we have that to look forward to!

All in all, today is a great day for Gleeks. Well unless the episode sucks, I suppose.

In case you can’t remember where we left off…

(Here’s what you missed, on GLEE!)

This episode, entitled “Big Brother” promises to reveal the outcome of Finn & Rachel’s wedding as well as Quinn’s fate after what appears to be a rather serious car accident which served as the cliff hanger for the last aired episode. Also, we are to be introduced to Blaine’s older brother, played by guest star: Matt Bomer.

Without further ado, let’s dive in!

The Glee-kly Recap: With “On My Way” Glee gets REAL!

Welcome back Gleeks! The winter finale has arrived and it’s being touted as a shocking, game changer! We all know there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that New Directions are going to lose at Regionals so what could the shocker be? If you read last week’s Glee-kly Recap, you’ll know what my theory is but I’ve been wrong oh-so many times before. If you haven’t read it:

(Here’s What You Missed, on GLEE!)

Let’s dive in, shall we?

The Glee-kly Recap: GleeHee! SHA’MON*ah! (a.k.a. “Michael”)

Welcome back Gleeks! It’s finally here.. the MUCH-hyped Michael Jackson tribute episode!! Much like the Madonna and Britney tributes before it, this is likely to be an impressive one! With TEN (Yup, 1-0) musical numbers planned, it’s also the most music-filled episode to date, so I guess we can expect it to be light on plot?

Here’s what you missed… on Glee!

And on to GleeHee!! SHA’MON*ah! (after the jump…)

The Glee-kly Recap: It’s “World War Glee” and It’s Getting Personal

Editor’s Note: I really do have to learn not to post anything in a rush. Being the anal-retentive fellow that I am I just spent an hour revising and editing and correcting a lot of punctuation errors and sloppy, inaccurate recapping from the original post. Sorry for the mess posted earlier, but enjoy it’s now-perfected state! – Dean ;)

Happy Tuesday, Gleeks!

Ok, I admit that as I write this it’s actually the early morning hours of Wednesday and by the time I post it, it will likely be late Wednesday afternoon, but who has time for semantics when there’s so much Gleek-ly recapping to get to?!!

This week:

  • Blaine finally takes a back seat and lets someone else have some spotlight for once, but not without some scene stealing dance moves!

  • We finally get some dodgeball action, which may be the reason for -or- inspired by this seasons promo/marketing campaign.

  • Quinn continues to be annoying, whiny, self-hating and stupid while Puck continues kissing up to Shelby, the adopted mother of his child and teacher at his high school.

  • The race for Senior Class President / Congress / Best McKinley High glee club REALLY heats up!

  • Santana insults everyone and everything, but not without consequences…

Read on for the all of the juicy details about Season 3′s sixth episode: “Mash Off”. Spoilers ahead… Obviously.
